Select the grade your child is currently in. Yes, the summer programs will be based off of the grade they will be in during next fall, however the system knows to allow registration based on the grade your child will be in after the finish of school this year.

What recreation programs, events and activities are happening in town?
The Recreation Department offers a wide variety of activities and events for people of all ages and abilities and you can find out what's happening many different ways. Seasonal brochures are available online and in our office, information is current on our website at www.westbororec.com, also be sure to like us on Facebook and download our App (Search WESTBOROUGH RECREATION in the App Store or Google Play!)

Can I register online for a program?
Yes, please be sure to Create and Account first.
Will I get a confirmation letter for a program I signed up for?
You will receive notice by email when you complete your online registration. If you do not have an email address you will not be notified. You are welcome to call and double check that you are in the class.
How will I know if my program is cancelled due to inclement weather?
If Westborough Schools are closed, so are our programs. For evening and weekend programs we will make the determination as early as possible and post cancellations on our website. You will be notified by email if you have checked the box to request cancellation notices.
How do I register for youth sports?
Recreation Basketball is run through our department. Many other youth sport groups in Westborough are volunteer run organizations not affiliated with the recreation department. Please visit their individual websites for registration information.
Do I need a permit to use parks and field space?
Individuals may use park and field space if the facilities are open and there is not a permitted group using the area. All groups using any recreation space in town need to obtain a permit. Please contact the Recreation Director at 508-366-3066.
Where can I launch a boat on the lake?
From the town boat ramp on Chauncy Street. Please see Lake Chauncy Boater Rules & Regulations.
Can I fish at the beach?
No fishing is allowed at Lake Chauncy beach -the hooks from fishing line are too dangerous for this populated areas. Shoreline fishing is allowed on all other public areas along Lake Chauncy and on Mill Pond and Sandra Pond. Please obtain a fishing permit from the Town Clerk's office.
Can I bring my dog to Lake Chauncy Beach?
No dogs are allowed on Lake Chauncy Beach, there is a walking trail around the lake that allows dogs. Please pick up any pet waste.

When is the Independence Day Celebration?
Traditionally this celebration is on the Friday prior to the July 4th holiday.
