Early Release Day Trips!

Wondering what to do with your child on those pesky early release days?!  Westborough Rec is offering a chance for kids to participate in fun and exciting trips and activites with the rec department.  Children will be picked up right at their school by a coach bus and depart to their destination.  Parents MUST write a note to the school informing the administration that their son/daughter will be taking the early release trip with the recreation department.

Depending on the field trip, parents will pickup their child at one of the 3 elementary schools.

General Information
  • - Students will be picked up via bus at their school between 12p-1230p
  • - They will be released to recreation staff in the gym or cafeteria until the bus picks them up
  • - Parents will pick up children at the Hastings school by 4:00pm
  • - STUDENTS MUST PACK A LUNCH (except for Dec 10 trip)
  • - Students must bring a note from their parent to the school letting them know their child will be on the early release trip!
  • - Students will not be eating lunch until we arrive at destination
  • - Make sure children are dressed appropriately for trips
  • - Chaperones NEEDED

Movie at Elm Cinema in Millbury
  • Join Westborough Rec and watch the movie Elf at the Elm Cinema in Millbury!
  • Bus will stop at Westborough House of Pizza before departing to MIllbury
  • $35 cost includes pizza at WHOP!!
  • Thursday, Dec 10
  • Grades 1-5
  • Movie: ELF
  • Parents must pick up at Hastings School by 4:30pm
  • Registration opens Monday, Nov 2 at 8am

Snow Tubing at Ski Ward (grades 1-3)
  • Tuesday, Jan 26
  • Cost: $45
  • Grades 1-3
  • Registration opens Monday, Nov 2 at 8am
  • Parents must pick up at Hastings School

  • Wednesday, Feb 3
  • Cost: $45
  • Grades 4-6
  • Registration opens Monday, Nov 2 at 8am
  • Parents must pick up at Mill Pond School by 4pm
